The region is full of splendid landscapes of Mountains, dense forests, and gorge-like valleys, which are part of Langtang National Park. The national park is home to varieties of wild species, including some endangered animals like the Red panda, Himalayan Tahr, and Snow Leopard. On the trekking days, you get to glimpse Langtang Lirung and Tibetan Peaks which are awe-inspiring and breathtaking. You will also gain fine hospitality from the people living there who are fascinated by Tamang culture and livelihood similar to Tibetan cultures.

Langtang Gosaikunda Trek is a journey full of a wilderness experience with the combination of religious pilgrimage. This trek gives you the once-in-a-lifetime experience of a heartwarming journey into the cultural heritage of the Tamang people and the sacred site of Gosaikunda. The holy lake – Gosaikunda- combines the splendid Langtang Valley and Kaylin Gompa. Talking about other high-altitude lakes in the area, Saraswatikunda and Bhairabkunda are other high-altitude lakes found in the area. Hence this trek will allow you to experience the breathtaking and eye-catching landscape, unique culture, and lifestyles of people, most of which are influenced by Tibetan cultures, and gain the divine aura around the Gosaikunda Lake.

The sacred lake Gosainkunda has acquired its reputation amongst both Hindus and Buddhists. From Hindu Mythology, it was believed that Lord Shiva created the lakes when he plunged his Trishul into the rocks of the mountain to extract the water to cool down his fiery throat after he had swallowed poison.
